Close Live, run the same Windows installer used for FL Studio, and reopen Live. In Settings/Preferences → Plug-Ins, turn on Use VST3 Plug-In System Folders and click Rescan. Find SCAT Sauce under Plug-Ins → VST3 → SCAT Sounds. If it is missing, hold Alt while clicking Rescan for a full scan. The installer uses the standard 64-bit VST3 folder. Ableton audio and project compatibility are still awaiting host testing.

No. Your SCAT Sauce purchase covers the available plugin formats and future included updates. Windows uses VST3 for FL Studio and Ableton. Mac AU for Logic and Mac VST3 for FL Studio and Ableton are being prepared; Mac installers are not available from account downloads yet. In activation-enabled builds, one purchase supports up to two computers across Windows and Mac. Using multiple DAWs on the same computer and OS user shares its activation. Use your purchasing account to manage computers. These account-service limits do not replace the rights in the distributed software license.

Close FL Studio, run SCAT-Sauce-Setup.exe, and reopen FL. Go to Options → Manage plugins, enable Verify plugins and Rescan previously verified plugins, then Find installed plugins. Replace an old instance with a newly loaded SCAT Sauce instance.

Play the fullest section of your track with SCAT Sauce on the master bus. Choose 15 or 30 seconds, then press Listen while the audio plays. After the processing check finishes, keep Bypass off and Amount above zero. For a reference, wait for its filename and “Reference ready,” then play your mix and press Listen.

Click the Listen button again while recording, balancing, or loading a reference. It shows Cancel when you hover over it. The previous learned finish stays active. You can start another Listen after the job stops.

A Reference target needs a WAV, AIFF, FLAC, or MP3. Click Choose / drop reference or drag a supported file into the plugin. The filename and status confirm loading. Play your mix and press Listen. Use at least one second of non-silent audio. A failed import keeps your previous reference and finish.

Choose the target closest to the sound you want, including EDM or Dubstep. The targets are starting points. Auto suggests a tonal starting point; it does not reliably identify a musical genre. After Listen, you can change targets and compare the recalculated result.

Use the Level match button at the top right of the plugin, next to Bypass. It is off by default and adjusts listening volume for comparison. Project reopen resets it off, and offline exports ignore it. Disable it for real-time exports.

Press Play, raise your device’s media volume, and check its audio output. Open “Can’t hear it? Use the standard player” beneath the comparison for the browser’s audio controls. Replay restarts the excerpt; Loop repeats the full 30 seconds while you switch versions. The original and processed render play at their own levels; the processed version includes the plugin’s loudness change. Match loudness starts off. Turn it on to lower only processed playback to the original’s loudness, or off to hear the actual louder render. The Level slider changes both together; on iPhone, use your device volume buttons. The full-level render is also available to download.

The mastering filters and lookahead need a small processing delay: about 19 ms at common sample rates. Keep your DAW’s plugin delay compensation enabled. Bypass keeps the original audio aligned with that delay for comparison. When recording vocals or instruments you monitor live, use a monitoring path without SCAT Sauce, then add it back to finish your mix.

It is a Windows x64 VST3 effect, so your DAW must support VST3 plugins. Loading has been confirmed in FL Studio. Other host and computer combinations still need testing; contact support if you run into an issue.

Sign in or create an account before checkout. After Stripe confirms payment, the purchase appears in that account automatically. Always use the same sign-in account to download. A receipt link cannot move a purchase to another account. For an older unlinked purchase, contact support with your Stripe receipt; do not purchase again.

SCAT Sauce updates are included with your purchase. When a new version is available, download its installer from your account or your original purchase confirmation page. Close your DAW before installing, then reopen it and run a verified plugin rescan. You can get an update whenever you are ready to install it; the plugin does not silently update during a session. After payment, Stripe returns you to the download page. Payment confirmation can take a moment. If asked to sign in, use the account from checkout; you will return to the order automatically. If your product is missing, check that account and retry before contacting scatsounds@gmail.com with your receipt reference. Do not pay a second time to fix a missing download.
