Sign-in and purchases.

SCAT Sounds uses Google Firebase Authentication for Google, email/password, and phone sign-in. Google handles your password or text verification. We keep your account identifier, sign-in contact details, private account profiles in Firestore, session records and saved purchases and SCAT purchase numbers so you can access your downloads and get support. Purchases made while signed in are saved automatically after payment confirmation. An account is required before checkout and for installer downloads. Confirmation links do not transfer purchase ownership. For older unlinked purchases, contact support for verified recovery.

Phone numbers supplied for verification are sent to and stored by Google for spam and abuse prevention across its services. Texts requested here verify sign-in; this form does not enroll you in marketing texts. Message and data rates may apply.

Stripe handles payments and payment details. SCAT Sounds records payment confirmation to provide your purchase downloads. We do not collect your full card details through this website.

Plugin activation.

Activation-enabled builds send a hashed computer identifier, your computer’s display name, and a random activation credential to SCAT Sounds. We associate approved computers with your account and purchase to manage the two-computer limit. Your raw hardware identifier stays on your computer. Activation credentials are stored separately from DAW projects; no audio is uploaded for activation.

Signed activations support up to 30 days offline. Removing a computer frees its slot and prevents renewal. An offline computer may continue until its activation expires; an already open audio session keeps playing. Short-lived approval codes and hashed request-rate records help prevent abuse.

Emails from SCAT Sounds.

Purchase setup emails are separate from optional marketing. When delivery is enabled, we use Resend to send purchase setup information to the email provided at Stripe checkout. We keep the delivery record and message to prevent duplicate sends and help resolve delivery problems. Replies go to scatsounds@gmail.com. Payment receipts are handled by Stripe; sign-in security notices are handled by Google.

You are not enrolled in product news or exclusive offers by creating an account or purchasing. If you choose those emails, we save your verified email address, your preference, the consent wording version and the time of your choice. You can unsubscribe or change your preference in Your account. Your preference does not affect downloads or purchase ownership.

Your choices.

Website sessions expire after 30 days. Sign out to end your current session, or choose “sign out all devices” in your account to end every active website session. For account information or a deletion request, contact scatsounds@gmail.com. Keep purchase confirmation links private. Installer downloads also require sign-in to the account that owns the paid purchase; a link alone does not grant access.
